There are different chests that spawn in the lost cities. They all look the same. Rare chests are the ones that can contain the dragon ring and they can spawn anywhere in the lost cities and because these rare chests aren't guaranteed to contain a dragon ring it makes finding one pretty difficult.I don't know how many exactly but it's something like 50-100 kills.
