Oct 9, 2009. #1. Installed 8n electronic ignition conversion in front mount distrubutor. Kit was listed for my tractor by ser# and year. My sustem is all original 6v. New electronic ignition is specified for 6volt system. After installing tractor would crank over but not start. (using internal 6v battery like always).
